City posts instructions for motorists to crash into cyclist

Northbound Emerson in North Minneapolis transitions from a one-way street with bike lane to a two-way bike boulevard.  At that transition the city posted a non-standard regulatory sign that guides motorists to crash into cyclists.


There are long-established rules of movement that requires right-turners to move far to the right to prepare for their turn even when when there's a bike lane.  This helps prevent the ever-popular right-hook crash.  The sign seems to instruct motorists to ignore those rules.
